Helicopter in the park!
Hi - I was in Finsbury park this afternoon, around 3pm when there seemed to be a lot of activity round the station end/corner of the park.. lots of sirens and emergency services dashing to the scene... and then a large red helicopter circled the park a couple of times before setting down near Finsbury Gate..
All very intriguing.. anyone know what was going on?

That's the air ambulance it's used in emergencies such as extreme trauma (road accident), severe bleeding, etc or when ambulances get stuck in traffic. http://www.londonsairambulance.com/SecureStore/welcome.aspx?Q1788=3...

It's usually a very bad car "accident". The last one was a toddler run over around the back of Turnpike Lane station which landed in Duckett's common.
