Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hello. Anyone here have been thinking about/would consider adopting a cat?

Long story short I’m working in a house where a lovely, cuddly cat has been abandoned.

I fed it whilst I was there but had to call the RSPCA to come get it.

They did, but turns out they’ll ‘dispose of it’ if no one claims it!

I don’t know if it’s boy or girl yet (planning on calling them tomorrow morning) but it looks healthy and fairly young. It’s quiet and enjoys cuddles.

Oh no, that’s so sad

Please contact the Cats Protection charity Adoption Centre in Junction Road London N19 who, I understand, do not euthanise stray cats and actively seek to get them adopted. Their phone number is 020 7272 6048; 11am to 4.30pm all week except Sundays 11am to 4pm.

Hi Ananda

any more news?
Can we get them to a no kill shelter? The RSPCA are horrendous in these situations. I am happy to help with driving etc.

I just read in the local newspaper that the Cats Protection & Adoption Centre in Junction Road is permanently closing down this weekend! If you can't find a person to adopt the cat right away, there is also the Wood Green Animal Rehoming Centre on 0300 303 9333 or Battersea Dogs and Cats Home on 0800 001 4444.

Hi Ananda, I might be interested in adopting this cat. Are you still in touch with the RSPCA?
