Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

A company called Elite fitness use the park to train there members . On the occasions they use the park they park a large van, unload there equipment , including all dumb bells and exercise pieces and because its early morning a strong light on a stand. Rather than use a suitable area to set down , they use the entrance to the middle path way that lead to the seven sisters entry / exit . On several occasions i have attempted exiting the park on my bicycle and each time Elite are positioned at the entrance and its being blocked by the trainers , members and equipment . Recently i nearly fell of my bike after ringing my bell as there light caught my eye and i was blinded momentarily and my tire bumped over a piece of there equipment . This is unacceptable dangerous .Regards Gary

Elite has a brilliant business model which operates in public parks and never pays any rent.
They claim to provide a welcoming atmosphere, but the pictures make them look like a bunch of bouncers who won't let you in no matter what. And their equipment looks like a medieval armoury.

In some ways I’m not surprised to hear this. I’ve also had bad experiences with this company. I reported them to trading standards (Welwyn garden is the main company address I think) but didn’t hear anything

Hello , thanks , however the Council or the park have still not got back to me . And still every Tuesday they are there , last Tuesday they had spread out even further into the public path !!! I'm getting cheeky "good mornings" now , lolol .
