Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Have you ever checked your computer backup before major data failure happens in action?

Dear computer users

Let's imagine a certain situation that you as a thoughtful computer user bought yourself an external hard drive to backup your precious personal and business data for your Mac or PC. You programmed your backup software to run every day or month and for three or four years everything have been running without smallest issue. It never failed.

And now, a certain day the hard drive of your computer died and data on this piece of hard drive is no longer available. You think - no panic as I have my external hard drive with the latest backup. Somebody fixed your computer and the hard drive inside so you want to restore your data back as quickly as possible. You opened your external hard drive and there is a surprise - your precious data is not there or only in pieces which do not have any bigger value for you and your business. Folders are there but they are empty.

Suddenly, you realised you have been running your backups but you have never had an occasion to check and restore anything. Believe me or not, running backups is only one part of the process, restoring data from your backups is the second part which unfortunately do not happen very often. Sometimes the computer shows that it runs backup that in reality this does not happen.

This situation have not happened to me personally but I have seen a few sad situations and would like you to check your backup and restore parts before your little disaster may happen. Please if you have a spare while check the content of your backup and see what is really there. Data loses are much more painful and expensive than hardware issues. Whoever had to use HARD DRIVE DATA RECOVERY services knows what I am talking about. For the price of their service you could easily buy a new computer.
