Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Has council tax gone up?

I think mine has, by about £40 on last years, from £129 a month to £133, yet I see in the budget that:

"I am glad to report that following measures in my Budget last year, every local authority in England has chosen to freeze council tax in the coming year."

So, what's going on?

Have the council not listened to Westminster?

Have Westminster not told them yet?

Have the council decided to put tax up anyway?

Or am I just plain wrong, and have got my figures in a twist?

Nope, mine's gone down (albeit by £5 a month)

Note that unless you re-claim it, the single person's discount will be dropped. There was a note tucked in with your annual bill, in case you missed it you can download the form here, you have till end of April.
