I have been away for a couple of days (but have had decorators in). I popped in today and saw a cat in the basement/ cellar. I only saw him/ her very briefly (so I couldn’t take a picture) as he shot off and hid but I think it is a slim-ish short haired black and white cat that often sits in the garden (I’m on Mattison road near the church/ river).
I couldn’t find him again so he is presumably hiding in the cellar still. I had to go out and won’t be back until tomorrow. I have left some food and water in the house, so he/ she will be safe and won’t go hungry.
Please message me if you think he could be yours or you know someone who has lost a cat.

Update -
I went to the house this morning and he'd eaten the food so is definitely in there. He must have found a hiding place in the cellar as I cannot see him anywhere. I am not currently staying there at the moment and I cannot leave the windows open for him to escape. I will make sure I leave food and water there daily but please do message if you know anyone who owns this cat and may be able to come and coax him out. I am a cat lover myself and cannot bear to think of a cat in distress.
My friend on Duckett has lost a black and white cat. She’ll message you
