Afternoon all,
I was wondering if anybody had a rotovator that I could borrow? I'm currently revamping the garden, and having dug out all of the brambles, sycamore seedlings etc. the time has come to break it down to a fine tilth, and lay some turf. Thus far I've been using a mattock, which has left it rather lumpy, and now, with the arrival of a small boy, my time in the garden has been somewhat constrained
I've already received the kind offer of a loan of one from another site user, but unfortunately it can't be started. perhaps if anyone has any expertise of small 4-stroke engines, they could get in touch and I could point them in the direction of the owner.
I'm loth to buy one (and certainly can't afford to this month) and with a day's hire going at around £40 I thought I'd ask around first.
Thanks
Dave

Thanks Antoinette, very useful.
Not all free of charge unfortunately, but certainly much cheaper than from a hire place. nearer £12 than £40
Ah well, it's an improvement! As the former vice-Chairman of Arsenal FC, I would have thought you could get the pitch groundsmen in to sort out your lawn....no, wait, that's David Dein!
Hi David. Do you want to go halves on one? I want to change the lawn in my back garden. I cant really do anything until the end of the month though?
feel free to PM me. i amt work on lunch but am popping off for a meeting so will not respond to anything until tonight.
cheers
Ben
Thanks for the offer Ben, but I've already got a couple of proposed shareholders within my family! I was hoping not to have to force the issue over Easter, but looks like I may have to.
however, should I end up buying one, I'd be happy to come to a mutual arrangement with you, or anyone else, vis-a-vis sharing!
