Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hello,

I need to get a cat in a basket to Essex Road during rush hour, anyone know how busy the trains coming in to Harringay rail get? The other option is the 341 bus, but I'm sure that's packed in the mornings.

I need to be in essex road at 9:20, so train would be about 9am and bus about 8:30.

Anyone use either regularly? Will I be able to fit on carrying a basket or is it sardines only?!

take sardines in a basket and you'll get plenty of space. some of those trains can get very busy, but if you aim for one with only a 5 min gap to the previous train and head towards the front you should be fine.

yes, take one with only a short break to the previous train (the 8.50 for example is 5mins after the previous train but the 8.45 is 13mins after the previous train.

And make sure it is a six carriage train.

Then it should be ok on a normal day. If there are any disruptions to services the trains do get very very crowded however so the bus might be easier.

I get the 9am train from ally pally to moorgate, most days get a seat, if not there normally plenty of space to stand with a cat box. If I see you, i'll offer you my seat :)
School holidays have started, the trains seem quite empty at the moment.
those sardines have gone on holiday - thats why theres seats?

I take the train everyday, usually if you take the 850 or 859 you are ok not as many people and if you get on front/end less any eaerlier it will be crowded.
