The University of Melbourne has found that the large majority of office workers engage in what it calls "Workplace Internet Leisure Browsing" (WILB) - surfing the Internet for personal reasons. But despite the common perception that such a behaviour is a drain on employers, the study's findings indicate that these employees are able to focus better when performing tasks for work.
