Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Just thought some of you might be interested in our fair town's name-checking in a song by the painfully-hip Carl Barat (ex-libertines fame) who performed at a very muddy Latitude festival this w/e: “I love her face/and I love her name… I’ve made up my mind/I’ve slippin’ away/I’ve got this new girl down in Harringay” goes the second verse of 'Run with the Boys' - a song about pulling groupies.

Any more examples of popular tuneage putting Har(r)ing(e/a)y on the map? :) I'm not aware of any...

Jah Wobble track called 'I Love Everybody' from the 'Take me to God' album

"Large detached houses in Kew, tower blocks in Tottenham Marshes, become my gods

I see an accounts clerk from Tooting, I see Zeus

A sanitary inspector from the London Borough of Haringey and Brahmin stands resplendent before me"

Gosh, that sounds esoteric...
