Harringay Market welcomes local author and TV chef

As Hugh mentioned, I'll be keeping you all up-to-date with news on the market. I would also encourage you to monitor our traders' list on the website too, as we're awaiting the last few confirmed stalls.

Anyway, back to today's news. We're v. excited to announce that local author and TV chef Celia Brooks will be doing cookery demos throughout the day at our inaugural market on June 24. She will also be selling edible plants and some of her cookbooks including New Urban Farmer, a book about tending her South Tottenham allotment, which she’ll be more than happy to sign.

Celia has appeared on the likes of Saturday Kitchen, runs gastrotours around some of London's top foodie hotspots and has written countless cookbooks and so it's a real coup to have her aboard the good ship Harringay Market.
