Harringay Homebase Makeover with Trainee Role in New 'Design and Decorating Academy'

Harringay Homebase is to get a makeover this September including the development of a new 'Design Hub' to assist customers with their home design. Alongside the makeover they have a design job opening for a career starter with place on their Homebase 'Interior Design & Decorating Academy'.

Homebase PR told me, "Academy students will be working full-time in the Harringay Homebase ‘Design Hub’ to gain experience of helping customers decorate and redesign the look and feel of any room in their home, during their official training programmes. Time will also be spent with industry experts and big brand suppliers of Homebase.

"Successful applicants will study towards a City & Guilds accredited qualification in interior design and decorating, receive visual merchandising training and experience, as well as customer service training from the Institute of Customer Service. Additionally, the students will have the opportunity be involved with well-known interior design shows such as Grand Designs Live."
