This from Andy Newman of the Gardens' Residents' Association:

Just to let you know I attended to the "Gardening Against The Odds" awards at Syon House yesterday which is the London home of the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland, on behalf of the GRA - The Gardens Community Garden.

The awards were presented in the Great Conservatory at Syon House in West London. The Duchess of Northumberland - Alan Titchmarch - David Belomy - David Shreeve were some of the named judges.

I was presented with our Award of Merit from the Editor of Life in the Sunday Telegraph Anne Cuthbertson.

I struggled back on the train with an array of prizes yesterday evening.

I assume the story will be publishes in this weekend's Sunday Telegraph Newspaper "Life Magazine".
