Ian Sygrave of the Ladder Safety Committee and the Green Lanes Traders Association were both winners in Haringey Council's awards to recognise citizens who helping fight crime and anti-social behaviour.
Well done to both groups and to Ian in particular who almost single-handedly keeps the LCSP going with great dedication.

Ian is everywhere in our ward dealing with various matters of crime & neglect, as well as nicer things like organising the recent Green Lanes Festival. Well done Ian and well deserved.

To make sure people's noses don't get put out of joint, let's make it clear that Ian was one of many people who worked together to get the festival up and running.

Forgive me, I missed off local resident Pauline Syddell who was also recognised for her success in promoting Neighbourhood Watch throughout the borough. Well done Pauline.
