A wee article about the Ladder in Metro with a few honourable mentions.....ahem....amongst which a certain website.......
Setting the scene
If you’re wondering how the Harringay Ladder got its name, look at a map. North of Finsbury Park and south of Turnpike Lane, it’s an enclave of 20 parallel Victorian streets, resembling the rungs of a ladder, which stretch between Wightman Road and cosmopolitan Green Lanes.
The neighbourhood has a vibrant community spirit, nurtured by the excellent HarringayOnline.com website, plus great foodie and drinking haunts. These include organic grocer and deli Harringay Local Store, Italian restaurant Durazzo and the Salisbury pub.
