Hi,
I had a leaflet come through the door re this & I thought it was worth publicising, just in case anyone knows someone who is looking for a vaccine - the Haringey vaccine bus will be at Chestnuts Community Centre, 280 St Ann's Road from 9.30-4 this Saturday 22nd.
Apparently it's for 18 & over, and can do 1st, 2nd or booster vaccinations, with no proof of address, immigration status, ID or NHS number needed & you can just turn up.
The bus is moving around Haringey in the next couple of weeks, details on the council's site.

Hopefully it will do something to reverse the depressingly low vaccine uptake in Haringey as a whole.

These statistics are scarey. Haringey has fewer people vaccinated than Tower Hamlets!
Well for what it's worth it is well below the national average, and that's a shame.
Nonetheless it looks like we are turning a corner but it's disappointing to see that for some reason or another the take up isn't what you'd expect it to be. This doesn't bode well for any future such health emergencies which may require mass vaccination or other such efforts. Sadly many are paying the highest cost of all and hopefully there will be more awareness going forward.
