The following sentences are taken from Haringey accounts for the years 2006/7, 2007/8, 2008/9, 2009/10 respectively. I.e. for years which were completed before the May 2010 elections, i.e. before any ConDem cuts were implemented
"In 2006/07 the Authority planned net expenditure of £365.9 million, as set out in the following table. "

"In 2008/09 the Authority planned net expenditure of £398 million, as set out in the
following table:"
"In 2009/10 the Council planned net expenditure of £242.7 million, as set out in the following table:"
£150+ million seems to have been "saved" from 8/9 to 9/10?
This line is taken from the budget for 2010-11 , at which point the £150million (and a little more) has reappeared.

The difference is accounted for almost entirely by the children and young people budget.
I wonder why this should have happened?
