As part of the national LGBT+ History Month Haringey Council has published new pages on its website which they says are "showcasing and helping you to access a range of resources".
The council describe the LGBTQ+ 365 pages as
a new online facility that brings all things LGBTQ+ together in one place, from Haringey’s own history and events taking place across the borough to projects and ways you can get involved with local organisations and networks.
The Council is marking this year’s LGBT+ History Month with a programme of events across the borough and online throughout the month of February, including film screenings, discussion groups, workshops etc.
Good initiative, and despite a perhaps rather council-centric view of gay history in Haringey, I was pleased to see that George Michael, Nicky Price, Bolts and High Energy - and all of which took place in Lazars above Tesco's in Harringay- are at least mentioned.
