A Haringey Council
Press Release today, praises the
Out of Hours Service - now run in “partnership” with the company
Vangent.
The Press Release says that: “Since going live in August, Vangent has taken more than 7,000 calls, beating its target of answering 85 per cent within 10 seconds and winning praise from customers.”
While a speedy pick-up is important, plainly the
quality of the response you get is a more vital measure. And over recent years my experience of the Out-of-Hours Service has been positive. This includes both when I've phoned and said I’m a councillor;
and when I've heard from residents who I advised to ring.
So it would be interesting to hear the views of
HoL members who use this service in future.
