Haringey Housing List

I have tried to join the council housing list this month, and they have changed the parameters. Now not anyone can join the list, you have to have an illness, or be facing homelessness. I thought anyone could join the list and then it was points based

My landlord has mentioned trying to sell this year - and if he goes ahead this will be the third time in three years I have had the same thing said to me. One sold, one went back on to rent for more money after I left. I just want secure affordable housing!

I do have a genetic and heart condition and I guess I will have to use that now, but are there any housing associations that accept you without being on this list, as all I've approached say you have to be on it.
