Anyone got any involvement with Haringey Food Bank? I know their website and that they are under the auspices of The Tressell Trust which is a national body with church links. This doesn't bother me but I have emailed and not got a reply(which might be down to resource issues) Will follow up with phone call soon. Just wondered as I have never come across them publicly or seen any publicity?

They were collecting at the Tescos in Tottenham on Saturday. I have contacted them a couple of times as I was interested in helping but never received any reply. I keep meaning to go down to Wightman road or Holy Trinity (where they have collection points) on a sunday to see if I can drop off food but I have yet to get round to it. Do let me know if you manage to get hold of someone.
Philip. Do you want to access food via a foodbank ? Private message me and i'll fill you in.
CARIS in St Ann's Church Hall also gives food parcels to families with children who are destitute.

Thanks - if I want to drop off food where/what time is the best time to do that? Do I just go to one of the centres during the opening times?

It opens on wednesday and Thursday 12.30 till 17.00.
Hi, I am part of a team who volunteer at the Gospel Centre, mentioned below. We are one of the two 'satellite distribution centres to Living Springs Selby Centre site. We give out food bags according to Trussell Trust guidelines, to those who are referred by places such as CAB, the Job Centre (signposting forms), Haringey Migrant centre, Salvation Army - Wood Green (Tue - Thur 10-3pm), Haringey Support Fund - Station Road N22 and the Irish centre (N17. We are happy to take donations of food during our food banks regular opening hours. The list can be found on the Haringey food bank website) during our opening hours, also mentioned previously. Also, we are happy to take on people who also wish to volunteer, particularly on a Tuesday. The Gospel Centre has done a small amount of publicising our food bank centre to local services.
Hi all, the Holy Trinity Foodbank Stroud Green is now open every Sunday from 1.3-3.30pm. I guess you could take down any donations then? It's based at the Holy Trinity Church Hall in Stroud Green, Haringey, North London, N4. Check the website for details: http://www.holytrinityfoodbank.org.uk/.
