Haringey council increasing leisure centre membership price by up to 26%

Park Road leisure centre membership has been £35.70 a month, but from April, everyone will have to pay at least £45 a month. So a 26% increase.

Tottenham Green is the same - an increase of £120 a year is a bit steep.

Looks like they’ve done away with swim only membership.

The default on the membership portal is £55 a month so be wary as they may default membership to that one.

Not sure this has been well thought out by Haringey, be interesting to see if the facilities improve!

I'm going to stick with Better, my disability membership is £26 a month. Cheap enough that I can also go to Gym Group for £23 a month.

Better have swim only membership and good pools at Clissold and Walthamstow. And free swimming for over 60s.
