Haringey 38 Degrees - Save our NHS

We are a relatively new group and have been campaigning to save the NHS in Haringey over the last few months. We had an early success when the newly formed CCG (the body set up by the government to represent GPs and have responsibility for shaping, commissioning and delivering health services in each area) finally agreed to adopt most of the 38 Degrees changes in their consitution, which would help protect services against wholesake privatisation.

Since then we have been actively campaigning and would like others to join with us in the following:

Film showing at West Green Learning Centre 8th May at 7pm - Ken Loache's Film, "The Spirit of 45" 

Hunt for Hunt
On 15th June Lewisham has organised a day trip Hunt's constituency on Surrey,where hospital campaign groups scamper after Health Secretary Hunt. The idea is to campaign there and tell his
constituents whats happening to the NHS in London. Coaches leaving from Green Lanes and tickets will be available at the film screening on *th May at West Green Learning Centre.
