Harringayonline outstanding Haringey teachers award?

I propose HOL could begin an award cereomony for Haringeys most outstanding teachers. Members could propose their favorite teachers and their reasons for this and the membership could vote for the favorites.

I would like to mention Mr Abua (I am not sure of the spelling of his name apologies if I have spelt the name incorrectly)! He is a Science Teacher at Hornsey School for Girls and he is the most inspiring teacher our family have encountered through our years of school life. He shines with positivity and happiness, he fully engages his pupils with positive comments and belief in their capacities and makes learning science personal and fun. He has a genuineness that fully engages both pupils and parents and I felt lifted, inspired and full of hope and confidence in my childs abilities having met him. My daughter does not have him this term and she feels his loss deeply as do I. He is a star deserving full recogniton and a beacon for other teachers to learn from and aspire towards.
