I found Vlad via HOL and can highly recommend him for any handyman tasks that you may require around your home!

He was nothing but polite, punctual and hardworking. He was also very thorough and reasonably priced.

I am so sorry to hear this. I feel terrible as I recommended him.

I don't know him at all but feel like contacting him and letting him know that I recommended him on this great community website and letting people down will not be great for him.

Please let me know what the outcome is. If it is not a positive outcome, I will be removing my recommendation. I am starting to think I should remove it now...

Mel there's actually another thread on here by a lady called Barbara who spoke very highly of him, so don't feel bad, he clearly is capable of good work. When I spoke to him just now (he was asking if I still wanted the work done - almost 2 weeks after I originally arranged for him to do it!) he sounded in a state, I'm not sure what's happened to him.

Anyway, I just hope the situation with Liz resolves as that's unacceptable. In the end I asked Alan (also recommended on this forum) to do the work in the end and he seems very reliable.
