Haloween and end of Protestanism
On this day 31st October 2017 there is a global ecumenical signing by all major protestant religions and the Roman Catholic church stating that 500 years of protestanism is now at an end.
This has been building behind the scenes for years but today is when churches no longer need to call themselves protestants anymore. What does this mean? Well you need to understand why there was a protest by Martin Luther and many others and why for 1260 years there was papal rule, why the pilgrim fathers fled to America and why the American constitution has an act to separate church and state and why the 45th president is now looking to repeal this, why we have religious liberty today and not one world order religion is because of men like Martin Luther.
So while Haloween is being celebrated the end and start of something serious is happening.

The supreme court now has I believe a majority of confirmed catholic members and I believe one educated at Jesuit institutions and where does a persons ultimate loyalty lies when faced between state and religious conflict. Is this example not alone a joining of church and state. Can someone serve two masters.

But suppose the Supreme Court were composed entirely of staunch Protestants ? Would that be any different ?

Ok, I assume you are not lost by "it would be no different" but I will expand before moving on. In regards to Roman Catholicism their belief and instruction is that the Papacy has primacy and they should be obedient to it first and foremost. So people professing faith should be excluded from secular matters otherwise decisions can be made dependent on their spiritual belief.
In the world there is the kingdoms of the world ruled by great men and kings and there is a kingdom ruled by Christ within the lives of some. The 2 swords at play are temporal power sword (secular governments or generally all governments of the world) and spiritual sword (religious truth and freedom of acceptance or rejection). The 2 swords should not be combined as took place in the dark ages and hence the constitution of America by experience of the dark ages and understanding of also what the bible first stated about the 2 kingdoms and swords seek to separate the 2.

there are those in the world that understand the great dangers of combining these 2 swords regardless of how good the reason may seem to combine them.

Ok thanks. But we have a problem. Americans generally are observant, perhaps more than the British. It would be difficult and perhaps unfair to restrict membership of the Supreme Court to individuals having no religious affiliation.
This brings to mind the myth about the High Court judge who was a Freemason and refused to allow conviction of a person who used the phrase " the Great Architect of the Universe " in his oath.
I would hope that any Supreme Court Justice who found there was a conflict between his religious beliefs and his secular duty would either recuse himself or take refuge in " Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's and unto God the things that are God's "

Ah, the whole world can only but hope for justice within each other which will never really happen in the purest sense. Did you not know we are fallen, corrupt etc etc but we mostly all think we are good.
