Please, could someone tell me - when is the October half-term holiday?

No, half-term is always a week long so back to school on Monday 3rd November. Friday 24th is a normal school day but tends to get referred to as the beginning of half-term.

Yes, term dates can vary across the country but I assumed John was asking about (maintained) schools in Haringey.

To explain - I sing in choirs and teach English in the evenings. Both of these usually take a break during the Half-term period so I wanted to know when this break would be. Thanks for the replies but I better contact the respective organisers

I was replying to John I didn't see the other responses so I wasn't contradicting. My partner teaches P/T and his term dates sometimes differ from Haringey
