Hala Restaurant Gets Personal Thanks from Community Housing Project

Hala Restaurant on Green Lanes today got a visit from the StArt Community Housing project. Vanesa Ricketts of StArt wanted to offer the restaurant thanks in person on behalf of the group for the support they offered during a recent fund raising initiative.

Hala Boss and N15 local Eren Korkmaz commented, "This is a really important project for the neighbourhood and we're thrilled to be able to support it. My son is in school at Chestnuts Primary right opposite St Ann's. It's people in his generation that will be paying the price if we can't get more decent local housing".

Vanessa Ricketts told me. "We're very grateful to Eren and the team at Hala. It's important that local businesses support what we're doing. If we're going to achieve the community goals we all have to work as one."
