Here are a few reasons for "Lets not to move to Harringay "from recent posts:
"Two separate shootings at the corner of Wightman and Turnpike lane. Two separate shooting incidents at Turnpike Lane Station. Man stabbed to death on Station Road. Man arrested after threatening police with a machete near the Arena."
"And a stabbing at the junction of Green Lanes and Station Rd. Police are treating it as a murder. "

Harringay has become a very pleasant neighbourhood. Good schools and transport links; plenty of good cheap restaurants and a growing sense of community. Overpriced housing yes but whatchgonna do? The Guardian,however has become quite right wing of late and I no longer buy it. If they think they can cut some of their hideous losses by recruiting free journalism from me they can forget it.
