Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I think I've been slow on the uptake...has Nafsikas closed? If so, can anyone recommend a good Greek restaurant as local as possible?

Thanks for the tip! It sounds good.

The one on priory road n8 is really good, their home made taramasalata is amazing.
Vrisaki Restaurant. 73 Myddleton Road, Bounds Green, London, N22 8LZ - Tel: 020 8889 8760.
Not for me. Rudest people I've ever met at Vrisakis.

Thanks very much for all these tips. The one on Priory Road sounds good. It's hard to find homemade tara. And I'll check out Vrisaki too.

whats the name of the one in priory rd?

Not sure, it' was run by an elderly couple when I was last there, hope it's still going, it was in the bunch of shops near Muswell hilll end.

oh I know where you mean, thanks.

On a summers evening, for the roof garden atmosphere there is also the Greek Cypriot restaurant down the side road off crouch end broadway where KFC is on the corner.

Food is a little hit and miss sometimes but it's a must in the summer for the atmosphere on a sunny day,

We used to love that one, but we have stopped going, the food started to be a bit more of a miss than a hit.

Yeah, it's a real shame, I still can't resist it once a year just for the drinking on the roof experience surrounded by flowers.

It's mad abut the shop on the corner where the boss won something like 100k on the lottery, then the chef won millions almost in the same time period huh ? Sad that it ended with the chef gambling it all away and working back in a kitchen again though.

I believe it's called Troodos.
