Gold Chain Snatches

Following a week that saw record temperatures, it seems that chain snatching, long prevalent in India is on the rise in Haringey.

Police are urging people to be alert following an increase in incidents in which the suspects snatch gold chains from the neck of the wearer.

Seven incidents were reported to have taken place between Wednesday 15 August and Sunday 19 August, during daylight hours mainly in the N15 and N17 post codes.
