Giant Chess

Hello. I help out with a local woodcraft folk group. They're interested in chess and I noticed the giant chess board in the little garden near Harringay Green Lanes station. Does anyone know if pieces are available for this or have any I could borrow?

Hi yes we have Giant chess, Giant draughts and giant jenga. We also have pvc chequer boards too for use in streets or green spaces/ events.

We used to have a local resident who ran a regular chess club in the community garden in Doncaster Gardens but unfortunately moved away. If you want to use the chess in the community garden that is no problem and or set up a club , obs Covid restrictions apply at the mo. If you want to use else where off site this would entail hiring the equipment ie minimal charge and deposit in case of theft or damage, all negotiable.
