David Parnell - http://pestcontroler.com/about-david-parnell-pest-control - first and last person worth calling with any pest issue. Fixes drainage issues and blocks up entrance holes; everyone else just charges a fortune to put poison down, which you can do yourself.
Cats: don't believe the hype. Unless you train them to live entirely on rats and mice, they aren't that effective - plus the food you leave out for them encourages all other furry friends. Buying a cat to solve vermin issues is at best replacing one hairy parasite with another.
