Getting insulated homes for all and tackling climate breakdown

Haringey's biggest contribution to climate breakdown is burning gas in our homes. Our campaign aims to get a government programme of home insulation to reduce that.

Some parties are committed to a massive programme of home insulation.

But we need to keep up pressure for delivery. Any new government will face enormous pressure to remedy many problems. devastation.

So we (Friends of the Earth in Haringey) have been running a local petition to our two MPs, Cathe…to our two MPs, Catherine West and David Lammy. We now have over 1,300 signatures on paper and online.

We are now launching a very short video in which a local GP Dr Edwina Lawson speaks about the importance of warm homes for her patients.
