Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

All the way from France via a Birmingham blogger, I came across this nice geographically accurate London Tube map. A nice addition to the CASA one I linked to on another discussion last year.

Sounds like fun!

Those are stunning pics  - these anonymous people must have some photo training.

They fit into a whole new-ish genre of photography about traces, abandoned places, empty spaces, as well as dereliction.  Watch out for the PhD's.

Before I saw this map I was convinced that the Piccadilly line from Manor House to Turnpike Lane was doing some huge loop as it seemed to take much longer than it should. When I used to live just off Green Lanes I could sometimes hear and feel it going under my house. There is also that LU building which I assume is an air shaft/access point on the corner of Green Lanes and Colina Road.

Fantastic, thanks Hugh.

Horrific story there about the author and her alledged mistreatment by the French civil service.

Missed that story. Can you point me in the right direction.

Did anyone understand what Florence's petition is about please?

Marian
