General Election - Michael Crick alleges "one of the most disgraceful episodes in modern Labour Party history."

At the start of his video report Michael Crick was asked whether either Labour or Tory behaviour was "all above board".

He replies: "Not at all!"

During the report Crick seriously questions the roles of Starmer himself and of Morgan McSweeney his head Enforcer. He also  asks how much was known to Sue Gray the former Partygate Investigator and now  Chief of Staff to the Leader of the Opposition.

Among other important points, Crick makes one which in my view applies as much to a local Council.
"If all you have  is yes-people you end up making bad decisions."  Over the years residents have seen on Haringey Council how unchecked power rots the judgement of many Dear Leaders and their enablers. I imagine they can actually feel it working as the decay seeps through them.
