Gas safe heating engineer/plumber recommendation
This is an extremely overdue recommendation for Nadeem Ali, an excellent gas safe heating engineer/plumber.
He has done a number of big and small, plumbing and gas jobs for me over the past few years. He installed underfloor heating system, replaced a very old boiler with a combi boiler, converted part of my cellar into a laundry room by installing a washing machine (using a clever pump system) and a dryer. He did all the plumbing for my new kitchen, added gas connection to a fireplace and more.
He is very helpful, has good ideas and tries to save you money. The standard of work is very good and his prices are reasonable. I can't recommend him highly enough and will be using him again.

Thanks for the reccemendation. I agree. Nadeem sorted faulty timer on boiler Came quickly within the hour after we rang and in days after Christmas when other plumbers weren't even answering their phones. Gave lots of advice. Very pleasant and knowledgable.

Sorry to disagree, but Nadeem didn't follow through. He came and spent some time explaining what needed to be done (immersion heater and water tank problems), and promised to provide a quote. He made quite a point of saying he only wanted people to put a review up after six months.... and was altogether a bit too much of a 'salesman', in my mind. What was particularly disappointing is that despite being contacted twice, he never came through with an estimate. So he isn't someone I'd recommend, frankly....
