Gardening Donations for Homeless Shelter

Lock down gardening club is kicking off at The Outside Project it's now established every Friday. We have some keen guests engaged and we are continuously looking for donations.

I'm doing a collection today of bits from 12-2pm around Harringay then I'll be whipping round again on Wednesday collecting more (times tb confirmed) or you can leave them anytime outside my house on Sydney road!

I am particularly looking for:

• Compost (need loads of it)
• Outdoor plants - decorative and edible
• Terrariums (for cacti display)
• Decorative planters and plant pots
• Hand-held shears
• Outdoor varnish
• Gardening tools (trowels and spades)
• Hinges, bolts, screws and castor wheels (too make planters from old pallets)
• Benches / outdoor shelves (to put out planters on)

Thank you all so much and to those that already made this happen - they are particularly very excited about the tomato plants and the mini herb garden we made!

Also (this is an absolute shameless use of my good Samaritan work before and I'm not hiding it) there has been a long thread here talking about the shooting a week ago on Sydney Road - I led the first aid on the young lad, I was the one that made the homemade rope tourniquet above the wound to stop him bleeding out - a lot of you send me kind words afterwards thanking me for helping him - if you'd like to do something to show your thanks this would make me really happy!)
