Fundraising for Restless Development! Help!

Hi Guys!

             My name is Yasmin, and in September I am off to volunteer in India for 3 months working with a youth led charity called Restless Development. During my time there I will be immersed in a rural village tackling our 3 main aims: education on vector borne diseases and sanitation, working on livelihoods, and accessing employment opportunities.

My flights and accommodation have already been paid for, however as part of my ongoing commitment and dedication to the charity I have to fundraise a further £800, and hopefully that's where you come in...

I would also love any suggestions you might have as to how I might be able to fundraise in the local area; I’ve already approached schools and churches, as well as local supermarkets to no avail. 

I was thinking of offering my services to any local community member in exchange for donations, I could wash your car, weed your garden, anything within reason.

Any ideas would really help!
