Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I have been keeping an eye on tinterweb and the FOFP website but can find no information on what happened in Court yesterday with their legal challenge against the Wireless Festival.  Does anyone know what happened?

They have a meeting tonight open to all:

Thursday 9th June from 7:30pm to 9:00pm, The Hideaway, Stroud Green Play Centre, Ennis Rd, Stroud Green, London N4 3HD

Unfortunately I can't make it... and if they lost I may not not be able to contain my glee so for diplomatic reasons that's probably for the best
Thanks Tris....can't say I'm surprised... hardly a quorum of the FOFP supposed membership of hundreds is it
Judgment to be given about now!
Oh really! Are you the man on the spot?
No, following one who is!
Well do keep us (me!) posted please...
Wow that wasn't the outcome I was expecting, thanks for the link Malcolm.
I will try to make the FoFP meeting tonight to see what the deal is.

Agreed. Even though I was personally inconvenienced by last year's event. It's not like it's every other weekend, is it?

Not yet, but the council seem to be getting more licencing applications each year.  A few years ago they changed their events policy to increase the number of event days allowed from 5 a year to 15 a year, so we could end up with quite a few more concerts.  Like you I am inconvenienced by the concerts, but don't mind the smaller ones like the September ones, or the Fleadh as it used to be.  I wouldn't object if we could be confident that there would be only 2 large events a year, but I fear this will increase over the years to come.

The point is, it's not in my backyard - it's over a mile away but the levels are so ridiculously high that it's annoying even here.
