Thank you all for coming to our Harvest Festival last week! It rained and poured but didn't matter to those who turned up, what with everything wonderful available to buy and the band playing as well as ever at their first gig since the lockdown.
There's no music this time but I'd say the market will be just as bustling - and very excited we are to have Francesco Trausi of Vita Bio back for the first time in three years. Francesco's hand-made pasta, freshly made using the best organic ingredients available to him, is a marvelous thing to see and taste. He'll also bring bottled sauces and condiments from his recent trip back home to Calabria.
Another new stall probably benefits better from the picture here than from any explanation I could muster. It's run by two locals with professional backgrounds in vintage clothing.
As you'll see from the list below, we have at the moment a rather nicely balanced market where the emphasis is very much on produce, but with a fabulous hot food corner and a craft/clothing section in the centre.
Binding everything together is a high level of quality and a friendly atmosphere of which we're very proud (in a modest sort of way).
See you soon!
Ed
