While Parliament debate whether to enter into the Syrian conflict, this song I discovered today by the LA's, loosely reflect my feelings of concern over actions of military intervention. Surely an attempt for a ceasefire should be our aim.
I'd just bought this CD from a charity shop on Green Lanes yesterday. It never ceases to amaze me how well grounded lyrics of Indie bands of the 90's were at times, reflecting recurring thoughts on modern society.

Sept 2014, Lyse Doucet, (BBC’s chief international correspondent,) admits the targeting of civilians, and in particular children, she has witnessed over the past two years in Syria and Gaza has prompted “an editorial shift in her journalism”, (evident in last month’s BBC2 documentary The Children of Syria.)
“The way the wars of our time are fought, as punishing, sustained attacks on neighbourhoods, towns, cities, means assaults on families and childhood.” “Most places I cover young children are everywhere, in Gaza they are pouring out of every crevice.”
