I have an old upright piano to give away - it needs tuning and some other TLC probably (some keys a bit muffled) but I think still useable. It just needs to be removed from the ground floor on Stanhope Gardens. If no takers, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good way of disposing of or recycling it? Haringey Council bulky waste will only collect it if it's already broken up which seems a shame!
Thanks

Try https://www.jreidpianos.co.uk/ just round the corner on St Annes Road?
They may take it away for free if it's worth doing up?
Hello, I may be interested in taking but I’d need to hear how it sounds overall.
May I come and take a look / have a listen? I live in The Gardens. Will send a connection request.
many thanks, Inger
yes of course - have messaged you my address
Thank you, I have it and have messaged you back re: suitable time
I sold an old upright on eBay a few years back for a small amount. Buyer collected.
