Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Free topsoil

I have about 2.5 cu. m of topsoil dug out mostly this weekend, a few weeds/seeds and a bit of gravel/rocks but generally good soil, I mean we have plenty of worms so it must be okay?

The soil is in 2 piles, one down the alley and one in the garden, I'm on Langham Rd, I don't have transport but I do have a wheelbarrow and am happy to help load it, so if you have the means of transportation and a wheelbarrow and need some soil, get in touch!

Hi Jonathan, I'm on langham road too, and in the market for some top soil! I'd just need to get it into some bags and wheel it down to my house, are you close to 90 by any chance!?

Hi Katy,

I'm right down the bottom near West Green Rd, so while it's not that far to walk, there's about 20 wheelbarrow loads, maybe more, about 50kg each, so it would take all day and a lot of bags! I'd love to help, I want to get rid of it, but that would kill me I think! Or by 'wheel it' did you mean in a car? I'll post a picture so you can see how much there is, I may have under-estimated.

Hi Katy,

Just to give you an idea, those bags in the background are 25kg. There's another pile at the back of the house, a bit larger. Are you still keen, or is the transport issue a problem?
