Free to collect on Monday the 14th only from Falkland Road - A 32" Sony Bravia LCD television and remote control in moderate working order.
I bought this television second-hand for £25 two years ago and am frankly astonished that it has survived this long. It has a Freeview tuner, standard definition only. The tuner can struggle to render fast-moving images particularly well, but the set can produce a picture of admirable quality in 1080p HD when fed via HDMI, of which there are four inlets, as well as two SCARTs, VGA and component video.
There is a minor issue with the backlight, which appears as two very slightly brighter vertical stripes on screen, though it is only perceptible when the picture is predominantly dark, such as during closing credits. It has an auto-brightness feature which can sometimes struggle to keep pace, but this is a small niggle and I haven't found it too irritating.
This set has been in good service for the past two years and shows a date of manufacture of 10/2010. A former niggle of the picture flickering black momentarily every so often seems to have resolved itself. Hopefully it has another couple of years of useful life left in it.
Model number: KDL-32EX401.
