Free Lantern Making Workshops this weekend

As part of Harringay Lantern Parade - Friends of Fairland Park and many creative volunteers will be running FREE lantern making workshops this weekend:

Saturday 19th November 12.30pm - 6pm at the Salisbury 

Sunday 20th November 11am - 3pm at South Harringay Primary School - annexe building on Mattison Rd

Both workshops will provide materials and support for you to create your own traditional willow and tissue paper lanterns, plus easier designs if you are short of time.  Prepare yourself to get messy !

Many thanks go to Tottenham Grammar School Foundation for funding materials for the workshops and to The Salisbury Hotel and South Harringay Primary School for providing venues for the workshops to take place.

There are also workshops taking place at Railway Fields on:

Saturday 19th November 10am - 1pm and Saturday 26th November 2pm - 4pm 

Harringay Lantern Parade will take place on Saturday 26th November.  Meeting points are:

• 3.15 Fairland Park for mulled wine, Father Christmas, Sometimes Singers Choir, or

• 4pm Railway Fields, or

• 4.15pm - The Gardens Community Garden
