Free hedge trimmer - needs fixing

I inherited a Bosch hedge trimmer which is in good condition but suddenly stopped working. I tried changing the fuse, but I think the problem may just be a nick in the wire. If anyone wants to take it on and fix it, you are welcome to have it - otherwise I will take to the dump.
