Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I've been doing some family research and found out my great grandfather Frederick Dean lived in Oakfield road in the 60s-70s(?) and wanted to check if anyone has any information about him (I very much doubt it but wanted to check!)

Don't know if this is at all helpful, but the 1939 survey lists the following at 52 Campsbourne Road, Hornsey

Frederick Dean    15 Sep 1884         Male      General Labourer Married

Alice V  Dean      27 Jul 1887          Female  Unpaid Domestic Duties   Married

William C F         Dean      12 Apr 1913        Male      News Agent Ass Shop Manager      Single

George A              Brooks  30 Sep 1863         Male      Retired Carman   Single

Campsbourne and Oakfield Roads are hardly adjacent, but at least both are Hornsey and people move about. Might the above Frederick be a relative ... names often run in families.

Peter

Good luck in your search.

Picture I found of Ernest (Dixie) Dean with Frederick Dean (standing) in the garden of 8 Oakfield Road. Likely in the 60s
