Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi,

I have had a young tortoiseshell/white cat sheltering in my garden for the past week. He/she is very fluffy, with white feet, white bib and a white tip to the tail. I would say about a year/18 months old. Pathetically hungry and afraid - he has got himself trapped in a deep well area outside my front windows twice, trying to get my attention, not strong enough to jump out, and I have had to clamber down on a ladder to lift him out - he weighs almost nothing.

I don't usually feed strays but have given him a little food to keep him going, he got soaked and terrified in the fireworks last night.

Does anyone recognise the description? Please PM me if so. I think I will be contacting a cat rescue shelter later this weekend if not.

Thanks

Carolyn

Have you got a picture of him? Will you take him to the vet? Cheers, M

Hi, I just PMd you.
I don't know if my pm got through, put please could you let me know if the cat is still in your garden, and possibly send me a pic? If he hasn't been claimed by his owner we'll have him, or take him in until he's claimed.
Vicki. You need to get him checked for microchips, actively put up posters, report on lost cat sites, before you can start thinking about claiming him. There is probably some distraught owner out there wondering where their cat is.
Sorry but if you are keen for a cat, there are plenty of desperate cats in shelters looking to be homed

Can you post some pics, yes he sounds like he is lost, thanks for taking care of him
Yes I know, it's just sad to think of him alone and freezing in a garden, instead of in a warm house while his owners are being searched for.
Did you ever see the little thing again
