Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hey there,

We found a young (maybe 6-12 months?) black cat outside our front door, pretty frightened, but clearly used to human contact and very friendly. Might not be very well or might be to do with being scared but it voided its bowels in a pretty spectacular manner. We live on St. Ann's Road (v. busy) so we've taken it in for the night. I've put up flyers and posted them through doors but if you hear of anyone missing a young black cat near the junction of Cissbury Road and St. Ann's Road then please get in touch with me here, thanks.

We're a bit further up the road. If you need anything to help you out just let us know.

Thanks - please point anyone in my direction if you hear of a cat astray. I'm going to put flyers through the doors of the block behind today and stick a few more up.

Well done for taking care of it! Hope you find the owner. Putting a photo on here always helps.

If you're lucky it will be microchipped. Any vet will scan it for you to check. Everyone should microchip and neuter their pet, but unfortunately many people don't.

I'm off to the vet now to check for chips - if not, I'll stick a photo up here later.

This is her - we've stuck her details/pics on the national pet search database and put up loads of flyers/posted through doors.

I guess she wasn't chipped.

If there is no response are you going to adopt her?

No, no chip unfortunately. We're currently thinking about what to do if nobody's come forward in the next fortnight. We may well keep her but it will depend on how our two current feline friends react...

How nice of you to go to so much trouble. She's adorable, and far too young to be out by the looks of it.

It might be worth letting Wood Green Animal Shelter know that you have her, in case anyone makes any enquiries there.

Vet reckoned maybe 8 months but she's tiny and very skinny, think she has been abandoned for a while. Will let WGAS know, good suggestion.
